I couldn't leave 2025 without putting a story out into the world. On December 31, I released Mama Awatif and the Protest on Nile Street is a true story I heard from Awatif Amin herself, told in English and Sudanese Arabic! It's a story about how she worked with kids and grownups to get more funding for special education in Sudan. Illustrations by Samwal Abd El Basit Amin. This self-published title is available only in my Etsy shop as a PDF or board book.
