Kadisa كديسة introduces children to Sudan through stunning images of the magnificent and the mundane, with text in English and Sudanese Arabic. Lyrical, conversational text takes the reader through much of the country, and a glossary at the end introduces a few Sudanese Arabic words. Sudan's King of Jazz and visual artist, Sharhabil Ahmed contributed his whimsical cat drawings to the illustrations. Several Sudanese photographers shared gorgeous shots of Sudan.
